Thankful Thursday...

7 things I am Thankful for this week:

1. The image above. It is BEAUTYfull. Just like the blog I found it on.
Beautiful You!

I stumbled across this blog from a re tweet on twitter, about Julie's post on Toddlers and Tiaras down under...this is a MUST READ! As a woman, a mother and a mother of a daughter at that, I will be writing on this very soon and will be contacting Julie...THIS kind of nonsense MUST BE STOPPED! Enough said.

2. That I get to stay home with my kiddies on the School Holidays and NOT get sucked into the idea that we have to DO something, OUT somewhere, everyday :)

3. McCafe. I don't actually like McCafe. For me, they are consistent. They serve me consistently BAD vanilla lattes. HOWEVER, today I am thankful for them because after the ability to stay home with my kids on holidays (see point 2), I had to escape them yesterday afternoon {I may or may not, have wanted to kill them}. I escaped to McCafe, the latte was bad, the company & wifi was good.

4. Sunny Mummies who take the time to write to me {and the ones that don't too}. The ones that tell me I am doing a great job are lovely. However, its the ones who write and tell me how lost they are and that Sunny Mummy is helping, that I am truly thankful for. WHY? Because it means that they have the map in their hands are are well on their way to finding which road suits them! If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

5. Maeve Magazine. I am honoured to Maeve's resident 'Get Real' girl!
The world needs a magazine like Maeve. You need Maeve in your world. Check it out!

6. My kiddies. They have the most amazing imaginations. Although it is the said imaginations that have forced me to decide I will NEVER take them to the shops with me again. NEVER. If you don't believe me, visit Rouse Hill Town Centre, I will be the one with the 2 kids performing an episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance' from shop to shop. Funny for about 2.3 seconds I can assure you. This is the reason for my escape to McCafe yesterday!

7. For cloudy periods. They make you appreciate the sunshine so much more. As of today, you will wake to my 'Happy Good Morning' greeting on facebook and then have the opportunity to download any 'cloudy periods' in the evening. A version of highs and lows many of us do with our kids...we need to tell someone ours too!

As for Toddlers & Tiaras...while I always say each to their own and try not to judge others...I think it's just wrong :(
